Architecture at Colonial Williamsburg is considered a "collection" equally significant as decorative arts or archaeology. Architectural Collections ensures compliance with the Foundations Collection Management policy through the care and curatorial management of the architectural collection.

This is accomplished by completing reports on conservation activities, documenting major maintenance projects, compiling data on past maintenance work, and managing the collection of architectural fragments and models assembled since the time of the Restoration.

The reports are given in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). When you click on the Download button on the download page, they will open in a separate window. You may save, print, or simply read the document at this point.

As part of an on-going effort by the Foundation to complete digitization of all research work, these reports are being gradually converted into XML (Extensible Markup Language) and will be available for full-text searching in Colonial Williamsburg’s Digital Library.
