drawings and paintings are indexed for objects of interest to trades-people
of Colonial Williamsburg. Topics indexed include wearing apparel, agricultural
implements, household accessories, weapons, trade and leisure activities.
More than 25 years (1978 to present) of this venerable British weekly have
been indexed for eighteenth-century architecture and decorative arts topics that
would be of particular interest to the curators and historians of the Colonial
