Photography plays an important role in documenting the research activities, collections, architecture, and educational programming at Colonial Williamsburg. The Special Collections section of the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library houses Visual Resources, a portion of the Foundation’s vast pictorial archive, as well as a small selection of donated or purchased collections of photos, postcards, and works on paper.
